Snapchat Ads UTM Parameters
To ensure accurate tracking of your Snapchat campaigns, you need to append UTM parameters to the destination URLs of your ads. This allows Bloom Profit Analytics to capture campaign, ad, and ad set data for better performance insights. Since Snapchat does not support bulk editing of tracking parameters, these steps must be followed for each ad individually.
Steps to Add UTMs to Snapchat Ads
Step 1: Open Manage Ads - In your Snapchat Ads Manager, go to the Manage Ads table.
Step 2: Select Ads Section - Click the โAdsโ tab located at the top-left of the table.
Step 3: Access Edit Option - Hover over any ad to reveal the โEditโ button. Click it, and an editing window will appear on the right side of your screen.

Step 4: Edit Ad Creative - In the top-right corner of the edit window, click โEdit ad creative.โ

Step 5: Locate Website URL Field - Scroll down to the Website URL field.
Step 6: Update URL with UTMs - Copy the UTM parameters below and paste them at the end of your landing page URL.
Step 7: Save URL - Paste the updated URL into the Website URL field and click Publish. To verify, reopen the ad and confirm that the URL appears correctly in the field..

Note:
You must repeat this process for each ad individually, as Snapchat does not allow bulk updates for tracking parameters.
Any new ads created will also need the UTM parameters applied. You can follow the same process above or refer to the tutorial when creating new ads.
