# Shipping Method - Based Setup

#### Step 1  - Create a Shipping Zone 

To start, you need to create a shipping zone that defines the countries this zone will cover. You can either:

* **Create a new shipping zone** and select the countries you want to include.
* **Select an existing shipping zone** if you’ve already added one.

**Note:** A country cannot belong to more than one shipping zone. If you try to add a country that is already part of another zone.

#### Once your shipping zone is set up, the next step is to define how shipping costs are calculated within that zone. Choose one of the following options:
