# Google Ads UTM Parameter

To ensure Bloom accurately tracks all your Google Ads campaigns, you can apply UTM parameters at the **account level**. This method automatically applies tracking to every campaign and ad in your account, ensuring consistent data capture without manual setup for each campaign.

### **Steps to Add UTM Parameters**

1. Log in to your **Google Ads** account.
2. In the left-hand menu, go to **Admin**.
3. Select **Account Settings**.
4. Scroll down to the **Tracking** section.

5. Under **Final URL suffix**, paste the following UTM parameters:

```
bl_source=google&bl_campaign={campaignid}&bl_adid={creative}
```

6\. Before saving, click the **Test** toggle located next to the Final URL suffix field.<br>

* Google Ads will validate your tracking setup.
* If there’s an issue with the parameters, you’ll see an error message — fix it before saving.

7\. Once the test passes successfully, click **Save** to apply your changes.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bloomanalytics.io/~/revisions/XMbKSjK2DLqHwsienmXB/bloom-pixel/enable-bloom-pixel-3-steps/google-ads-utm-parameter.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
