Where to Add:

  • TikTok Ads Manager > Campaigns > Ad Details > URL Settings > Tracking URL field

Notes:

  • tiktok is manually added as the source, and __CID__ is TikTok’s dynamic parameter for ad ID.

  • Ensure the tracking URL is added at the ad level in TikTok Ads Manager to properly track campaign performance.

  • Verify that no conflicting tracking templates or parameters are set at the campaign or ad group level to avoid overriding the UTM setup.
